LATEST NEWS

We are emerging from the global pandemic albeit slowly and with caution.

The Fiscal Year 2022 Consolidated Appropriations Act formally changed the name of the Open World Leadership Center to the Congressional Office for International Leadership (COIL). The name change language was among many measures included in the bill. Read the press release at COIL Name Change for more details.

Although delegation visits were suspended in March 2020, COIL began hosting once again in Washington DC and we are too!

We hosted a delegation of Judges from Kazakhstan in November, 2022. PTPIAZ greatly appreciates our community partners! They help us deliver a  program that provides insight on how governmental and non-governmental organizations in our community support the delegations theme. The Kazakhstan Judges visited the ASU School of Law, the Arizona Bar Association, Senator Mark Kelly’s office, local Justice of the Peace judges, toured parts of the Tempe jail system including observing initial arraignment hearings, and the Arizona Supreme Court Judges – and this is not a complete list! This was an incredible program and we thank you all! Our community contributions are invaluable.

We are currently preparing for a delegation of Members of Parliament from Hungary in February. Members watch your email for an opportunity to meet with them as we learn about their culture.

If you would like to contact us, feel free to do so using the contact us link or by emailing us directly.
